Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Interpret complex GD&T specifications to create accurate measurement strategies.
- Perform first-article inspections and validate CMM program accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors and measurement discrepancies.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and analyze measurement data.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize part quality and processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in industry-standard CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated experience in setting up and operating CMMs for part inspection.
- Solid understanding of metrology principles and various measurement techniques.
- Ability to analyze measurement data, troubleshoot inspection issues, and optimize CMM programs.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
- GD&T certification (e.g., ASME Y14.5).
- Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., optical comparators, vision systems, laser scanners).
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
