Come assist our Critical Access Hospital in our Health Information Management Department. We are located on the Oregon Coast in the city of Bandon. SCHHC has an on-site opening for an on-site General Clerk. Responsible for preparing, scanning, and indexing documents and patient information into the electronic medical record.

This will be a temporary full-time position for six to ten weeks with no benefits.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills/strategies are required.
• Ability to accurately relay information and communicate tactfully and courteously with co-workers, clinical staff, non-clinical staff, patients, and visitors is required.
• Computer proficiency, keyboard skills, and experience using Microsoft Office products required.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and medical record documentation is required.
• Electronic Medical Record experience is preferred.

This is a Full-Time, on-site temporary position that is not eligible for benefits.

Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
