Locations: Evansville, IN • Buffalo, NY • Louisville, KY • Paducah, KY • Janesville, WI
Salary: $115,000–$140,000
Job Overview

Seeking experienced Sr. Electrical Estimators to own full-cycle estimating, including material/labor takeoffs, blueprint/spec analysis, supplier engagement, RFQs, competitive pricing, and proposal development for large industrial electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Estimator–Project Manager, interfacing with clients and interpreting electrical drawings/blueprints.

  • Translate bid requirements into complete labor, material, equipment, and expense estimates.

  • Prepare detailed cost summaries and proposals for review and closeout.

  • Manage project-related administrative and direct labor activities.

  • Perform post-project cost analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with construction quality, building codes, and safety standards.

  • Track project costs (materials, labor, equipment) and evaluate cost uncertainties/risks.

  • Estimate engineering project costs based on technical plans and data.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.



Requirements


  • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of electrical construction estimating and project management experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or trade certification.

    • Experience estimating and managing industrial projects $5M+.

    • Proficiency with project management software and electrical estimating tools (Accubid preferred).

    • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    • Scheduling software experience preferred.
