Staff Accountant
City of Industry
Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 annually
A company in the packaging and distribution sector is looking for a Staff Accountant with at least five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. This role offers a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 and is based in City of Industry, CA. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial activity and maintain organized, up-to-date records in accounting systems.

Support monthly closings by reconciling bank accounts, preparing journal entries, and updating the general ledger.

Assist with budgeting and financial reporting, including cost-saving analysis and revenue tracking.

Handle tax-related duties, such as processing payments and compiling necessary returns in compliance with current laws.

Collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and prepare reports for audits, consultants, and management.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally with over 5 years in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and comfort working with internal and external stakeholders.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting tools), along with Outlook and Word.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to improving systems and procedures.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
