Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient patient flow.
- Document nursing care and surgical details accurately.
Qualifications:
- Current and active RN license.
- Proven experience in operating room nursing.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and perioperative care.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
