Pharmacy Technician - LTC Pharmacy
Pittsburgh, PA 15238 (Blawnox, PA)
$19/hour
Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in Pittsburgh. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a structured, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill medication orders, including packaging, dispensing, labeling, and shipping
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare medications for dispensing and final review
- Coordinate and stage medications for accurate and timely delivery to customers
- Maintain proper storage and security of medications
- Assist in mixing pharmaceutical preparations according to prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including equipment checks for safety and calibration
- Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor and team to meet daily operational goals
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards
