JOB TITLE: Sales and Services Technician DEPARTMENT: Distribution

JOB SUMMARY: The Sales and Services Technician position is responsible for supporting and assisting with multiple warehouse activities.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Is responsible for:
   1. Understanding and following policies, procedures, and instructions
   2. Identifying and reporting product, process and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel
   3. Controlling non-conforming products
   4. Supporting implementation of corrective/preventative and improvement actions
2. Proper housekeeping of the area.
3. Expediting batteries from other vendors.
4. Verifying product availability and lead times.
5. Assisting with:
   1. Inventory counting
   2. Verifying totals when required.
   3. Shipping paperwork
   4. Scheduling trucks.
   5. Ensuring deliveries were made.
   6. Answering phones
   7. Special orders

1. Remove inventory from middle room and finish line.

1. Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures, and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITY: This position reports directly to the Distribution Operation Supervisor.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience with safety and environmental training
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast paced setting
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management
• Ability to obtain a forklift license

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand/walk for 8-10 hours at a time. Bending, twisting, and turning. Full use of both hands to finger, handle, or fell objects, tools, or tooling; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk to hear. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds frequently and in excess of 140 pounds infrequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must follow OSHA guidelines on respirator fit testing and proper wear. Will wear goggles or face shield at all times while in department.
