The Role:
FISR is currently seeking an Account Manager (AM), who is based out of the Fire Island, New York office and reports to the Vice President of Client Success. The AM is fully responsible for its own book of business and will be tasked with managing all aspects of the owner and renter experience to ensure each owner’s success on the FISR platform and guests’ satisfaction. This includes onboarding new properties, building property listings and ensuring the accuracy of its details, managing the ongoing marketability of properties, setting up pricing, availability, and strategy to maximize revenue, answering renter questions or issues related to their booking before, during and after their stay, and coordinating with various members of our team to facilitate a smooth rental experience. Ultimately, the AM is the main point-of-contact for owners and renters across myriad inquiries so that both parties can “rent without reservation.” This is a relationship driven role, where an owner’s trust in you directly corresponds with their property’s and your overall performance.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Act as a primary point of contact for owner and renter questions, handling directly and overseeing junior team members’ communications
- Handle initial owner calls/meetings
- Manage the onboarding process for new owners, working directly with owners and various internal departments to build out listings
· Ensure the accuracy of property listings and internal documentation
- Support Operations team in the coordination of Rental Manager related follow-up actions and jobs, including communicating with guests, owners, and 3rd party vendors
· Work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate with 3rd party service providers
· Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure the timely scheduling and execution of cleanings – pre-season, pre-stay, end of stay, or cleanings requested by guests and/or owners
- At times, provide support coverage for the Operations team, to assist with executing jobs and other tasks that arise
- Foster strong relationships with new and existing owners
- Actively manage property marketability – updating listing details, aligning on pricing and booking requirements, and creative outbound marketing campaigns
- Proactively raise opportunities to optimize property setup
- Manage the booking process on behalf of owners – tenant vetting, negotiation, and execution
- Oversee issue resolution within your property portfolio (guest or owner disputes)
- Actively manage guest experience for FISR renters
- Train and oversee support staff
- Manage the booking process on behalf of renters – guest detail collection, payment collection, and change requests
- Manage the rectification of property issues and communicate such issues to owners
- Constantly review your portfolio from a marketing perspective including photos, copy, listing details, channel connectivity, etc.
- Analyze data to find underperforming properties and run campaigns to help them succeed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of professional experience in a client-facing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of autonomy; a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong teamwork mentality
- The ability to solve complex problems independently
- Comfort in a highly dynamic environment
· Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends is required
· Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
· Excellent telephone etiquette
· Outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations and experience
· Technical competence
Office Location:
This role will be based out of our Fire Island Office located at 479 Bay Walk, Ocean Beach, NY 11770 and will occasionally be required to report to our Melville, NY office.
Type: Full-time position, with the schedule of Sunday – Thursday 10 AM – 7 PM from June 15 through September. From October to June 14th, the schedule will be Monday – Friday 9 AM – 6 PM. Additional coverage based on company needs.
Salary: Starting at $70,000, plus incentive compensation based on portfolio performance
