General Statement of Position

Join our vibrant team as an Admissions Coordinator and become a key part of shaping the first impression for new residents at our Health Center! Working closely with the Health Services Administrator, you'll handle a variety of dynamic tasks—from welcoming residents and arranging smooth admissions to preparing rooms and leading tours. As the face of our organization, you’ll foster professionalism while ensuring every resident feels valued and supported.

Work Duties

  • Provide crucial clerical support for Health Center admission policies and procedures, working side-by-side with the Health Center Administrator to uphold our exceptional standards and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Play a hands-on role in intake functions, admission contracts, room setup, tours, and diverse clerical responsibilities that keep our community running smoothly.
  • Safeguard resident privacy by adhering to HIPAA rules and company policies, demonstrating your commitment to ethical and professional care.
  • Become a knowledgeable resource, connecting residents and their families with valuable community services.
  • Enhance your skills and stay current through frequent training workshops and staff meetings.
  • Deliver outstanding, courteous service to residents, guests, and colleagues—making every interaction positive.
  • Stand up for and support the rights and dignity of all residents.

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of resident assistance policies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with facility procedures, methods, and daily operational strategies.
  • Proficiency in using records, graphs, reports, and essential documentation.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication, organization, negotiation, and public relations talents.
  • Sound judgment with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Confident oral communication and attentive listening skills.
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Superior time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience/Training:

A minimum of one year of relevant training and experience is necessary to thrive in this impactful role.

Prior experience in a senior living setting is a plus—and an exciting way to make a difference from day one!
