This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Designated hospital, recognized as a Chest Pain and Stroke Center, with a renowned cardiac catheterization lab supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac catheterization patients, including sedation, medication administration, circulation, and monitoring.
- Support advanced procedures such as Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, and treatment of pediatric cardiac conditions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia teams, respiratory therapists, and clinical nursing leadership.
- Adhere to patient safety protocols and utilize department-specific technology including EPIC, Cupid, Sensis, and Siemens x-ray systems.
- Participate in a tailored orientation program encompassing the facility and cardiac catheterization lab up to two weeks for seamless integration.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year cath lab experience preferred; 2 years ideal.
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
- Proficiency in sedation management and medication administration in cath lab settings.
- Bonus: Ability to scrub cases is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced academic medical center environment.
