RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in NICU Level II with 4-bed unit maintaining 1:2 patient ratios
\n• Must be able to flex to mother/baby unit and provide couplet care
\n• Required to attend deliveries independently and catch babies
\n• Care for stable postpartum mothers
\n• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with flexible scheduling
\n• First to float when needed
\n• Up to 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks required
\n• On-call standby when low census - up to 48 hours in 13-week contract
\n• Must respond to unit within 30 minutes when called
\n• Holiday coverage required when scheduling needed
\n• Client can call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks without penalty
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA or ARC)
\n• EPIC charting system
\n• BSN not required
\n• Must be friendly, helpful, and positive team member
