Duration: 6 Months
Pay: $25.37/hr
HYBRID: MINIMUM OF 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE REQUIRED
JOB DESCRIPTION:
OVERVIEW: Responsible for providing project and analytical support to an assigned business line or functional area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in implementation of new pricing accounts.
- Manages all aspects of system maintenance and ensures contract compliance for assigned accounts.
- Acts as a project liaison with other departments.
- Compiles and analyzes pricing issues, identifies root cause, and makes decision for corrective action.
Entry level Project Analyst job responsible for performing small and more routine projects and/or assists more senior level analysts by working on a portion of a larger project. Work is typically performed under guidance. Typically requires basic to general level of knowledge of a specific business line or functional area. Incumbent typically has a bachelor’s degree and one to two years of related experience.
Freight Payment Pricing Specific:
A basic understanding of:
• Contract Manager
• Pricing Tools (Excel tools and other resources)
• Universal Pricing Gateway
• Transaction Manager
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate and above excel skills, organizational and time management skills, and data analysis skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of assigned business line or functional area
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of project management
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
Provides project and analytical support to assigned business line or functional area. Performs research, analysis, review, development, implementations, and monitoring of new and/or revised products/services. Acts as a project liaison with other departments. Analyzes current costs and estimates the cost or cost savings. Compiles and analyzes information for an assigned project or areas making recommendations based on findings.
