Hillside Builders, LLC is a small carpentry & general contracting company in the Woodstock, VT area. We are a value-led organization with a reputation for professionalism, integrity and high quality of work.
We are hiring experienced and competent Carpenters with professionalism and skills to join our growing team for high-end residential projects.
Qualifications:
Experience with carpentry techniques and methods from frame to finish, or a specialty in either
Minimum of 5 years carpentry experience, 8-10+ years preferred
Strong attention to detail and precision measurements with integrity for high quality work
Able to work with limited direction and complete tasks unsupervised
Have a sense of humor and be able to work in a team environment
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
Must be motivated and reliable
Ability to follow health and safety standards
Able and willing to work in varied weather conditions, including outdoors
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to work on time and ready to work
Must be able to pass a background check
We offer competitive wages from $30 - $40/hour, depending on each candidates combination of skills, experience and knowledge.
We work Monday Thursday, 7am-5:30pm, but may be open to flexible scheduling depending on need
