Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape Construction Laborer/Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting with landscape construction projects while also safely transporting materials, equipment, and crew members to and from job sites. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is capable of performing physically demanding work, and has a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscape construction projects such as planting, grading, irrigation installation, and hardscape work (pavers, retaining walls, etc.)
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate company trucks and trailers safely and responsibly
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving trucks and trailers (preferred)
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous landscaping or construction experience is a plus, but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with landscape construction or hardscaping
- Knowledge of basic irrigation systems
- Familiarity with operating small equipment (skid steer, compactors, etc.)
