Position Overview
Client Care & Treatments
- Deliver a range of massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, sports and more with expertise and personalization.
- Warmly greet guests and escort them to and from treatment rooms, attending to any needs during their spa visit.
- Ensure client comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the treatment session.
Environment & Cleanliness
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to both guest preferences and luxury standards.
- Uphold wellness cleanliness and sanitation protocols, including laundry, supply stocking, and proper sterilization procedures.
- Ensure immaculate presentation of all wellness spaces, including locker rooms.
Teamwork & Service Excellence
- Collaborate with wellness team members including front-of-house to deliver a seamless wellness journey.
- Actively promote wellness services, programs, retail offerings and other hotel and club items.
- Communicate guest preferences, concerns, or complaints to Wellness Management.
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and spa meetings.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging modalities.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Current Georgia Massage Therapy License (required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a licensed massage therapist; luxury spa or hospitality background preferred
- Skills: Proficiency in a variety of modalities; additional certifications (e.g., lymphatic drainage) are a plus
- Traits: Exceptional communication, client service orientation, professional appearance, and a strong sense of ethics
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform multiple massages per shift with strength, precision, and grace
- Schedule: Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Insurance: Must carry valid professional liability insurance
- Availability: Commitment to at least three shifts per week, including weekends
Compensation
- Competitive hourly base rate ($20-25/hour)
- Plus service charge and gratuities
