Our client is a well-established contract manufacturer of precision machined solutions for a variety of industries. They are looking to bring on an experienced Operations Manager who can help oversee day-to-day responsibilities on the shop floor and step in to provide guidance and troubleshooting advice to engineers, operators, and machine programmers as needed.

Job Description
• Manage and oversee daily operations in the machining department to ensure production goals are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards to meet customer requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and resolve challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Manage budgets and optimize resources effectively.

Qualifications
A successful Operations Manager should have:
• Must have a Bachelors degree within a hands-on engineering science

• Strong knowledge and experience in machining and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of quality control and safety standards.
• Proficiency in analyzing operational data and implementing improvements.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
