Job Title: In-Person School Physical Therapist - Sedro Woolley, WA
An opportunity exists for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide in-person services for a K-12 school in Sedro Woolley, WA. This contract position is ideal for those who are passionate about enhancing student mobility and overall well-being while fostering an inclusive educational environment. The role is set to commence as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the school year on June 13.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to implement IEP goals effectively.
- Offer direct physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Attend and participate in before or after school meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Current WA state ESA certification in Physical Therapy.
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
