Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume AP operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires deep experience with NetSuite, PO-based invoicing, and three-way matching, as well as the ability to work independently and serve as a subject-matter expert within the AP function. The ideal candidate has prior experience in CPG or manufacturing and is comfortable owning the AP process from invoice intake through payment and reconciliation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the details, identifies issues before they escalate, and helps ensure accurate, timely payments each month. This temp to hire opportunity pays $33-$38 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process a high volume of invoices monthly with minimal supervision
- Perform PO-based invoice processing and three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt)
- Serve as a go-to resource for AP questions, escalations, and process improvements
- Utilize NetSuite, bill.com , and Excel to track, reconcile, and report AP activity
- Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and communicate professionally with internal stakeholders
- Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to AP workflows and controls
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Proven experience with PO-based AP and three-way matching
- Background in CPG or manufacturing strongly preferred
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
