Summary
Family Tree Ministry is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Intro to Preschool Teacher to join our faith-based early childhood education team. This role is an incredible opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who loves working with children and is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment.
As the Lead Intro to Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a biblically-based curriculum that promotes the spiritual, emotional, and developmental growth of children aged 2-3 years. You will serve as a role model for both children and staff, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating atmosphere that fosters exploration and creativity.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute lesson plans that align with our biblically-based curriculum and promote developmentally appropriate practices.
- Foster a warm and inclusive classroom environment where toddlers feel loved and supported.
- Lead activities that encourage physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, providing updates on their child's growth and milestones.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to ensure program excellence and consistency.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with state regulations and Family Tree Ministry’s standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- A passion for working with children and integrating faith-based teachings into daily activities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to the values and mission of Family Tree Ministry.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
