An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services in a Long Term Care and Retail setting in Fargo, ND. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule with day shifts and rotating weekends, ideal for pharmacists seeking variable work hours and the chance to serve diverse patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper medication usage.
- Manage pharmacy operations for Long Term Care and Retail environments.
- Conduct immunizations and administer vaccines in accordance with certification.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds a PharmD degree or equivalent.
- Certified in Immunization administration.
- CPR Certification current and valid.
- Experience or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices in Long Term Care and Retail settings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
