Mancan Staffing is currently hiring an Open Records Specialist for a well-established company in Bridgeville, PA. This role supports national insurance claim investigations by gathering and verifying critical public and private records used in case evaluations.
**Position Overview**
The Open Records Specialist is responsible for researching, requesting, and obtaining official records and supporting documentation from a variety of sources, including law enforcement agencies, government offices, medical providers, and businesses nationwide. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple investigative requests.
**Key Responsibilities**
Research, request, and obtain open records from police departments, government agencies, and businesses
Conduct medical canvasses to help verify prior care and pre-existing conditions
Contact businesses and agencies by phone to confirm details and gather additional information
Obtain statements from relevant parties, including law enforcement personnel when needed
Compile findings into clear, accurate, and well-organized investigative reports
Manage individual assignments while collaborating with team members as needed
**Qualifications**
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Experience with Microsoft Office and online research tools
Professional verbal communication skills with confidence on the phone
Strong written communication and report-writing ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
