Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.

• Manage and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Supervise the corporate card and expense reporting process, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with external partners to provide necessary documentation for the annual audit.

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal government regulations and reporting requirements.

• Develop cash flow forecasts in partnership with leadership to support financial planning and decision-making.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial institutions, credit card providers, auditors, and tax advisors.

• Support leadership by contributing to special projects and ad hoc financial analyses.

• Coach and mentor accounting team members to encourage growth and improve overall team performance.

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the department.

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including cash flow forecasts.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and external audit procedures.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and reporting tools like Power BI.

• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at the local, state, and federal levels.

• Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial operations.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
