Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of our Technical Sales Engineer position is to represent Triosim in all phases of the product and services sales process for all assigned customers in a specific geographic territory. The position requires a unique combination of an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, relationship building, and a vast product and services knowledge. You will be required to represent each of Triosim's offerings from our Precision Mechanical Services, Advanced Diagnostic Services, and Critical Equipment Manufacturing & Restoration divisions. To be successful a candidate must possess the ability to communicate well with a diverse group of prospects, customers and partners in order to involve and lead all stakeholders through the sales process.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develops and services customers in the assigned territory.
  • Researches customers’ needs and problems in order to present solutions associated with Triosim’s vast offerings.
  • Sells comprehensively across all Triosim offerings.
  • Visits customers/potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, close sales opportunities and provide technical assistance.
  • Builds relationships with key decision makers, to promote current and future business; including engineers, planners, schedulers, maintenance & production managers, technical & engineering directors as well as mill managers.
  • Meets established sales budget (revenue, profit, expense) goals.
  • Develop strategies to maximize short term and long-term performance for the region, including yearly strategic planning report.
  • Delivers sales presentations and closes sales in a professional manner.
  • Diligently communicates both internally and externally to maximize effectiveness and involve all necessary stakeholders.
  • Completes all safety training required by each mill in the region and promotes safety in all facets of the job both while on a customer site or traveling on the company’s behalf.
  • Follows all requirements as outlined in the Triosim employee handbook.
  • Maintains sales opportunities and customer contact listings for customers within the assigned region using the Dynamics 365 CRM platform.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineer Degree preferred; or commensurate industrial/mechanical services experience, industrial sales experience a bonus.

Sales Territory:

Midwest (WI, MN, Northern IL)

Location:

This is a field based position involving approximately 85% travel. The ideal candidate would live within the assigned territory, preferably in the central WI or MN region.
