This full-time night shift nursing role at our organization involves delivering essential care to patients in both a medical-surgical ICU and a Transitional Care Unit (TCU). The nurse will be tasked with coordinating patient care, ensuring confidentiality, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional healthcare. Candidates must hold an active RN license and basic life support certification. A sign-on bonus is available, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care while maintaining professional accountability for the assigned patients. Assesses the overall effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers. Collaborates with various departments to coordinate patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Performs all responsibilities in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.

We operate a dynamic, high-energy 20-bed unit that includes a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and an 8-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU). Our team works cohesively to provide top-notch care to our patients, ensuring they receive the critical support they need.
As a medical-surgical ICU, we encounter a diverse range of patients and diagnoses, offering numerous educational opportunities for our staff. The TCU cares for acutely ill patients who are either transitioning from ICU status or are not yet at the point of requiring ICU care. This fast-paced environment demands strong critical thinking skills, making it an excellent learning space for new nurses. Our success is rooted in exceptional teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
