What You Will Do
Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Security Systems, including similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. In addition to inspections, inspectors may occasionally perform system installations and service calls.
How You Will Do It
Perform quality inspections while meeting customer expectations
Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections
Professionally represent the company at all times
Complete service acknowledgements/inspections using laptops, smartphones, or hardcopy
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected
Complete assigned inspections on time
Perform other duties as directed
What We Look ForRequired5+ years of documented service experience in Fire Alarm High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local code
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and manuals
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage
Capable of performing physical labor (lifting up to 70 lbs)
Able to work in challenging environments (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, etc.)
Flexible schedule including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends
Willingness to travel out of town
Strong customer service skills
Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability
Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred
NICET II or III certification
National, State, and Local license
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.00 - $29.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
