**Exciting Opportunity for a PTA in Acute Care!**\n\n- Enhance your career in a dynamic Acute Care setting\n- Day shift: 5x8-Hour schedule (08:00 - 16:30)\n- Patient ratios: 1:4 during days, 1:1 on weekends\n- Daily census of 175 patients, conducting approximately 8 visits per day\n- Engage with a diverse adult and geriatric patient population\n- Experience a wide range of cases, including:\n - Orthopedic: Hip fractures, post-op surgeries, total hip and knee replacements\n - Neurologic: Cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries\n- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team focused on physical therapy\n- Obtain a New Mexico license (pending applications accepted, ETA 2-3 weeks)\n- Required: 1 year of experience and any charting system proficiency\n- Preferred certifications: BLS\n- Preferred skills:\n - Work in various settings: Acute Care, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)\n - Familiarity with equipment: Crutches, gait belts, lower & upper extremity prosthetics, rolling walkers, shoulder slings, standard walkers\n- Orientation hours: 24 to ensure a smooth onboarding experience\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
