Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a brand-new 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in Atlantis, FL.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
  • Brand-new 42-bed IP rehab unit with new equipment
  • Primarily assigned to the inpatient rehab unit with floating limited to that unit
  • 1:1 therapy sessions provided on the unit
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Weekend availability is a plus

Requirements

  • Active Florida OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience
  • At least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab setting
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
  • Two professional references required for Florida-based positions

Additional Information

  • Grey scrubs required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
