Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a brand-new 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in Atlantis, FL.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
- Brand-new 42-bed IP rehab unit with new equipment
- Primarily assigned to the inpatient rehab unit with floating limited to that unit
- 1:1 therapy sessions provided on the unit
- Documentation system: Meditech
- 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Weekend availability is a plus
Requirements
- Active Florida OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience
- At least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role
- Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab setting
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- Two professional references required for Florida-based positions
Additional Information
- Grey scrubs required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
