Position: Field Helper
Location: Houston, TX 77015
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $16 per hour
Employment Type: Contract to full-time hire
About the Role:
Integrity Trade Services is partnered with a globally recognized cement manufacturer to recruit a Field Helper to support daily operations at a Houston facility by assisting with pallet preparation, railcar loading activities, industrial cleaning, and coordinating with CCR operators, forklift drivers, and silo truck operators. The position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment around heavy equipment and may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and complete daily operational duties, including:
- Pallet preparation
- Top hatch and filter preparation for PD railcar operations
- Re-wrapping cement pallets
- Industrial cleaning
- Communicate with CCR operators to understand machine operations and support field activities.
- Coordinate with forklift operators to ensure smooth dispatch operations for box trucks and flatbed trucks.
- Assist with silo truck operations in the field and communicate with the shipping office when necessary.
- Promote and maintain a safety-focused and environmentally compliant workplace in accordance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Ensure adherence to plant rules, safety procedures, and health protocols during operations and maintenance activities to minimize injuries and lost-time incidents.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings and report unsafe conditions or potential equipment issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in general labor or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Comfortable working around moving equipment and machinery
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
- Must be able to pass screenings
