CGS is searching for an experienced Simulation Technician to support the Mission Training Complex (MTC) located at Camp Dodge, Iowa.
This position requires US citizenship and active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for performing system management and system administration functions supporting a distributed computing environment consisting of military simulations and Gaming systems (e.g., JLCCTC WARSIM, JLVC/JCATS, Low Overhead simulations such as LOTS/DXTRS, and Gaming systems such as VBS3), and integrate these systems with Command and Control Systems / Mission Command Systems (MCIS)
- Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware
- Manage the functionality and efficiency of the JLCCTC Federation, which includes multiple operating systems
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems
- Set up simulation system administrator and service accounts
- Participates in special projects as required
Requirements:
- Security+ Certification
- IA Level I certification
- United States citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
Working Conditions: Onsite, inside a government facility at Camp Dodge, IA
Required Travel: Minimal
Job Type: Full-Time
Contract Length: More than 1 year
