Artemis Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistants to join our client’s established multi-specialty practice.
Position Name: Medical Assistant (MA) - ENT, Dermatology, or Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery
Location: Danbury, CT
Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent
Setting: Multi-Specialty Outpatient Practice (Dermatology, ENT, Cosmetic/Plastics)
Pay: $20-$30 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday | Full-Time (32-36 hours/week; varies by department)
Current Openings by Specialty:
- ENT: 1 opening
- Dermatology: 1 opening
- Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery: 1 opening
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Direct experience in at least one of the following: ENT, Dermatology, or Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery.
- Experience supporting providers during exams and procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Strong documentation skills, including real-time charting or scribing within an EHR system.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows.
- Ability to accurately capture and summarize provider-patient interactions.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between nearby office locations (mileage reimbursement provided).
Job Summary:
- Assist providers during patient visits, including rooming, intake, and procedural support.
- Document patient encounters in real time, including provider-directed notes, histories, and orders.
- Prepare patients for examination and provide education as needed.
- Support clinical workflows such as medication reconciliation, minor procedures, and follow-up coordination.
- Adapt to different specialty workflows while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a smooth and high-quality patient experience.
- Structured onboarding with classroom-style introduction followed by hands-on shadowing.
- Exposure to a variety of clinical procedures and patient populations.
