Position Title: Registered Nurse – Pulmonary/Med-Surg (Night Shift)
Location: Des Moines, IA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Pay: $2,310.60/week on W2 without any Benefits
Position Type: 13-week contract
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary/Med-Surg team. As part of an interdisciplinary care team, you will apply your professional nursing knowledge to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, RT, etc.)
Care for pulmonary and med-surg patients, including those on BiPAP, trach care, and heparin drips
Float to multiple campuses as needed
Participate in holiday and weekend rotation
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC EMR

Must be willing to float across all campuses:

Holiday Requirements (Winter 2025)
Work 2 of 3 major holidays: Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving
Limit of 1 day off between:
Nov 26–30, 2025
Dec 23, 2025 – Jan 2, 2026
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2+ years Med-Surg experience
Pulmonary patient care experience (BiPAP, trach care, heparin)
EPIC experience preferred
BLS required
Iowa RN license
First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years Med-Surg
