This role will ensure a seamless transportation experiences for members combined with proactive trip planning and real-time issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assign drivers and vehicles to upcoming trips based on member needs (e.g., wheelchair van, gurney van, sedan).
- Ensure all trips within the designated timeframe are covered with suitable transportation providers.
- Handle last-minute trip requests by securing drivers and vehicles under tight timelines.
- Reschedule medical appointments when transportation cannot be arranged.
- Continuously monitor dashboards to identify trips experiencing delays or issues.
- Dispatch drivers for return trips, ensuring timely pickups and smooth transitions.
- Maintain contact with members until issues are resolved and transportation is confirmed.
- Continuously update schedules to reflect changes, cancellations, or reassignments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in logistics, transportation planning, dispatching, or customer service preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and empathetic under pressure.
- Proactive and self-directed work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate a caring attitude and uphold customer values in every aspect of the role.
