Location: Hospital St. Louis and Surrounding Areas
(Including Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Perry, and Southeast)
RRT and CRT GIG
Compensation: $35/hr for RRT, $30/hr for CRT + Variable Shift Incentives

Overview:
Provide direct patient care in all areas of respiratory therapy, adhering to physician orders. Consult with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness. Act as an advanced resource for medical staff on respiratory care. Complete assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program.
Licensure: Must meet state licensure standards and possess a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Certifications: Must hold either the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in the Emergency Room. ACLS certification is also mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is required, excluding orientation time.
Other: Physical demands include the ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, as well as pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Equipment Used: All relevant respiratory care devices.
Preferred Experience: Critical care experience is preferred.
