???? The Role: Medical Equipment Courier
As a Medical Equipment Courier, you’ll be responsible for stocking and maintaining referral source loan closets and supporting our Orthotics & Prosthetics department to ensure accurate billing, complete documentation, and exceptional service to our partners.
???? What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
???? What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver and stock medical equipment at referral source and Stock & Bill locations
- Set up equipment and provide demonstrations for customers and referral sources as needed
- Process and distribute paperwork such as admission packets, patient instructions, DME orientations, and rental agreements
- Track Stock & Bill equipment to ensure all necessary documentation is received
- Load and unload equipment—lifting up to 100 lbs
- Pick up or collect returned equipment and verify item identification
- Obtain customer signatures for deliveries and pickups
- Follow all State of Michigan and Binson’s driving regulations
- Follow safety protocols when handling contaminated or infected equipment
- Adhere to store security procedures, emergency preparedness plans, and quality assurance standards
- Assist with inventory control, order tracking, and rental equipment logging
- Perform other duties as requested
