Join a highly collaborative healthcare environment as a Full-Time Infusion Pharmacist, providing clinical pharmacy services in a specialized infusion setting. This direct hire opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities every third weekend. The role emphasizes a team-based approach to patient care and pharmacy operations, focused on delivering high-touch service and optimal clinical outcomes.

• On call every 3rd weekend

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring of infusion therapies prescribed by authorized medical personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain adherence to policies and standards.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing teams to optimize patient care and service delivery.
• Participate actively in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement efforts.
• Lead orientation and training for new staff, and potentially serve as a preceptor for pharmacy interns.
• Support sales and marketing with clinical expertise, including customer presentations and material reviews.
• Manage procurement and inventory control in alignment with company policies.
• Aid the reimbursement team with insurance documentation and audits.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including controlled substance reporting adhering to federal and state requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of USP 797, USP 800 standards, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in the pharmacy on-call rotation to provide continuous support.

Desired Experience:

• Prior infusion pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates with specialty pharmacy background will also be considered.
• Strong clinical and compounding skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
