Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring chemotherapy certification and a valid NJ or Compact RN license.

  • Medical Surgical Oncology unit in a hospital setting
  • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • \n

  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • \n

  • Every other weekend required based on unit needs
  • \n

  • Travelers may float within their skillset, including to the main New Brunswick campus (connected by a pedestrian bridge)
  • \n

  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • \n

  • Local candidates are accepted
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Active NJ or Compact RN license required
  • \n

  • Required certifications: BLS and Chemo (ACLS preferred)
  • \n

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • \n

  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n

  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n

  • Two current professional references required
  • \n

  • All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended; block scheduling is not approved

  • Former staff (full-time or PRN) of this health system must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment

  • Open or active background or license hits are not accepted
