We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Deburring Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring our parts meet the high-quality standards required in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with deburring metal components using various hand tools and abrasives.
Responsibilities
- Perform deburring, sanding, and finishing of metal parts using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment.
- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.
- Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with machinists and quality control to ensure product quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in deburring and finishing metal components.
- Skilled in using hand tools, abrasives, and sanding equipment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a machine shop setting.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices.

Work Environment
The role is based in a dynamic manufacturing environment, utilizing technologies such as grinders, hand tools, and sanding equipment. The work schedule is structured to ensure productivity while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
