Schedule/Hours:
- 48-hour contract
- Patient ratio: 1:4
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in a stepdown setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adults with conditions such as Sepsis, Heart Failure, COPD, Hypertensive Emergency, Status Epilepticus, Chronic Kidney Disease, Substance Abuse Disorders, and Encephalopathy
- Effectively manage 4 patients per shift within a 16-20 bed stepdown unit
- Collaborate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor, assess, and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation in line with unit and hospital policies
