Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical care in a dynamic emergency room setting at a 28-bed department that includes trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring units. This role requires a dedicated professional to deliver fast-paced, team-oriented care with an emphasis on rapid patient turnover and comprehensive emergency nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room, including trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac cases.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to manage acute patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to facility protocols.
- Support patient stabilization and prepare for further treatment or transfer.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii required before the assignment start.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Preferred certifications include Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to arriving Thursday before the assignment start for required employee health appointments.
Schedule:
- 15-week contract.
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours), with no guaranteed hours.
