Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services to support student wellbeing and academic success. This role focuses on delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation services remotely to meet the diverse needs of students in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments using telehealth platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students social, emotional, and learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to recommend strategies that enhance student outcomes.
- Participate in eligibility meetings, provide counseling, and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and telehealth service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience with telehealth delivery of psychological services.
- Strong knowledge of child development, educational assessments, and counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, families, and school staff remotely.
- Proficient in using digital tools for assessment, documentation, and virtual collaboration.
- Commitment to ethical practice and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
Location:This contract role serves schools in Waipahu, HI, with all services provided via telehealth platforms.
