Job Summary:

The Partner Success Document Control Specialist will be an important member of the Partner Success Team, which is responsible for working with acquired firms and integrating their employees, systems and processes into the Mercer environment. While this role may assist with various phases of the integration process, this position will primarily focus on a specific critical area of the integration process: generating Mercer wealth management agreements and related documents for all clients of acquired firms, managing the distribution and collection and executed documents, and monitoring, archiving and reporting on the status of returned and outstanding documentation. The Document Control Specialist must be highly organized and requires precision, superior attention to detail, strong project management skills and solid communication skills (including understanding the "audience", promptness, patience and clarity).

Essential Job Functions for the M&A Portfolio Data Analyst will include:

  • Lead the effort of creating and preparing Mercer agreements and related materials for clients that have joined Mercer Advisors via the acquisition of independent firms.
  • Distribute (either electronically or via hard copy) agreements to clients.
  • Monitor and track the successful return of executed agreements.
  • Follow-up with non-responsive clients on a regular, pre-determined frequency.
  • Prepare and distribute reports to multiple stakeholders tracking the progress of executed agreements.
  • Archive executed agreements in Mercer's electronic file storage system and update specific fields in Mercer's CRM system related to the executed agreements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum five (3 - 5) years of professional services experience; experience with a financial services firm is preferred.
  • Superior level of skills and experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Deadline oriented – must be willing to work under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Possess the ability and comfort to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Very high attention to detail and fanatical commitment to accuracy of data.
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently.
  • Client-centric approach required.
  • Experience working with high-level, busy professionals in a demanding environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a work-from-home position Professional home office work environment during business hours. Minimal business travel required. Work from home-based position.
