Complete Pain & Spine Institute is currently seeking a personable and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is crucial in delivering a welcoming and professional experience from the moment patients walk through the door.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of front office tasks including greeting and checking in patients, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information, managing appointment scheduling, and answering high-volume phone calls. Exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. We have two locations, Ridgewood NJ and Clifton NJ. The candidate will be responsible for going to both locations, as needed.
Duties
- Greeting patients upon arrival, checking- in and checking-out
- Managing phone lines, emails and faxes
- Responding to all patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Verifying insurance information and collecting co-payments
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality within health information management standards
- Understand medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and medical providers
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office front desk is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Familiarity with insurance verification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multi-line calls.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient appointments
