Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Warrenton, NC. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), offering an opportunity to work closely with students across various grade levels to help them improve their functional abilities and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy plans designed by licensed occupational therapists to support student needs.
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to tailor interventions that promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid COTA certification.
- Experience working within K-12 school environments preferred.
