Who We’re Looking For: A Hospital System Educator Consultant for a 100% remote contract role. This person will contribute to needs assessment, instructional design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, staff development, and continuing education programs relevant to hospital staff.Job Summary

  • The System Educator contributes to needs assessment, instructional design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, staff development, and continuing education programs relevant to hospital staff.
  • This role supports the development and maintenance of a master plan to promote the professional growth of all staff members.
  • Provides education on clinical systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in education or training.
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Webex Chat and Meeting preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to create concise, accurate, and well-structured educational materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all staff groups, including clinical providers.
  • Familiarity with Epic provider workflows (EpicCare Ambulatory, Oncology Treatment Plans, OR Case Request; knowledge of Anesthesia Application is a plus).
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting Epic Nova Notes related to software upgrades

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of educational theories and principles to assess needs and to design, implement, and evaluate staff educational programs.
  • Two (2) years of experience in adult learning or professional education.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, orFour (4) years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree.

Certifications & LicensurePreferred:

  • Epic certification.
