Who We’re Looking For: A Hospital System Educator Consultant for a 100% remote contract role. This person will contribute to needs assessment, instructional design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, staff development, and continuing education programs relevant to hospital staff.Job Summary
- The System Educator contributes to needs assessment, instructional design, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, staff development, and continuing education programs relevant to hospital staff.
- This role supports the development and maintenance of a master plan to promote the professional growth of all staff members.
- Provides education on clinical systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in education or training.
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (Webex Chat and Meeting preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to create concise, accurate, and well-structured educational materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across all staff groups, including clinical providers.
- Familiarity with Epic provider workflows (EpicCare Ambulatory, Oncology Treatment Plans, OR Case Request; knowledge of Anesthesia Application is a plus).
- Experience reviewing and interpreting Epic Nova Notes related to software upgrades
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of educational theories and principles to assess needs and to design, implement, and evaluate staff educational programs.
- Two (2) years of experience in adult learning or professional education.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, orFour (4) years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Education:
- Master’s degree.
Certifications & LicensurePreferred:
- Epic certification.
