We believe recovery is possible for everyone. Every client who walks through our doors deserves safe, compassionate, high-quality care. Join us in making that happen.
We’re seeking a confident, compassionate, and highly organized Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with our Director of Nursing in leading the medical operations of our Detox and Residential programs.
This is a leadership role that blends clinical oversight, staff supervision, operational management, and direct collaboration with providers — all while ensuring our clients receive ethical, compliant, and excellent care.

What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee all nursing operations within detox and residential levels of care
- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and behavioral health staff to maintain consistent clinical standards
- Monitor client care delivery, ensure appropriate delegation on each shift, and verify completion of assigned duties
- Communicate staff concerns, client updates, and protocol changes to the Director of Nursing
- Conduct daily chart audits and ensure documentation meets compliance and quality standards
- Coordinate lab services, medication orders, admissions, and provider visits
- Provide onboarding and education to new nursing and behavioral health staff
- Support recruiting, interviewing, and retention efforts in partnership with Human Resources
- Promote a culture of respect, accountability, teamwork, and strong professional boundaries
What You’ll Bring:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in substance use or behavioral health
- 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to explain treatments and conditions clearly to clients and families
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must successfully complete background check, drug screen, and TB test
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift light objects
- Ability to walk frequently and navigate stairs
- Ability to sit for extended periods during administrative tasks
Benefits & Perks:
- PTO, Holiday, and Sick Time
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Company Paid Life Insurance
- Quarterly KPI-Based Bonuses
- Retirement Plan with 3% Company Annual Contribution
- Collaborative leadership culture within a growing organization
