Location: Austin, Texas

Overview
A dynamic and mission-driven organization is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives, collaborate across departments, and play a key role in shaping financial strategy and reporting. Ideal candidates will bring a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for solving complex financial challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of advanced financial analyses to support regulatory compliance and internal decision-making.

  • Contribute to the preparation and review of GAAP and STAT financial reports.

  • Analyze insurance claims, premium trends, and taxable income estimates.

  • Build and maintain financial models and support executive presentations with clear, data-driven insights.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.

  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including budgeting, audit, consolidations, and financial modeling.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and STAT accounting principles.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with database tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with insurance accounting is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior leadership.

  • Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.



Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
