Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a two-week coverage assignment in Rochester, NY, from March 17, 2026, to April 3, 2026. This role offers weekday shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, with hours initially set from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a possibility of extending to 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions efficiently and safely.
- Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting patients with their needs or concerns.
- Resolve adjudication issues by interacting with third-party prescription plans to ensure smooth prescription processing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Experience in retail pharmacy or familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is preferred, enhancing your ability to manage diverse pharmacy environments and patient needs.
