Job DescriptionWe Are Seeking a Detail-Oriented and Experienced Accountant to Join Our Team!
Are you a meticulous and results-driven professional with a passion for numbers and financial management? We are seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, prepare accurate financial reports, and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations. In this role, you will contribute to the financial health of our organization by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile accounts and manage the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations by staying up-to-date with changes in accounting laws and tax regulations.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory filings.
Work closely with internal teams to provide financial guidance and support on various projects.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Perform various ad-hoc financial analysis tasks as needed by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is preferred, but not required.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and leadership.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
