Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students from preschool through grade 5 in an elementary school setting. The role requires supporting an elementary caseload on-site, with no itinerant responsibilities. The district operates on a hybrid model, and the schedule includes 3 to 4 workdays per week from October 5 through May 27.
Location: Madison, West Virginia
Contract Duration: October 5 May 27, 2021
Schedule: 3-4 days per week
Student Population: Preschool to grade 5 (elementary level)
Caseload: Elementary students with speech-language needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP certification, with SLP-Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) candidates considered
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid learning environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with school staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
