Job Title: Sheetfed Operator


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheetfed Operator to join our dynamic printing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sheetfed printing presses, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate sheetfed printing presses according to job specifications

- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and consistency

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment

- Adjust ink and color settings to achieve desired print quality

- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow safety protocols and company policies


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sheetfed Operator or similar role

- Strong understanding of printing processes and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- Familiarity with color management and quality control techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time
  • 2 years’ experience preferred operating a Heidelberg press (preferred)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Must have positive and effective communication with other team members
  • Safety and Quality minded
  • Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor
  • Identifies and solves problems in a timely manner
  • Proofing capabilities – strong eye for attention to detail
  • Experience leading and training fellow team members
  • Willing to work flexible hours
